Our core management team has over 80 years of collective experience in real estate investment acquisitions, repairs and maintenance of single family, multi-family, and small commercial properties.

We have a team of companies in the areas of property management, investments, mortgage & finance, and accounting that we work with to ensure the ownership of rental property is a successful and positive experience.

With a focus on property management from a financial planning and asset management perspective, we approach real estate and investments somewhat differently than traditional property management companies. We do this through an asset management perspective and pride ourselves in our “Fiduciary” stewardship to our owner/clients.

Lyle Crews – CPM, MBADesignated and Managing Broker
– Lyle Crews, Jr., a founder, and principal of our company, is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and a member of Community Association Institute (CAI), a licensed real estate broker, and member of the National Association of Real estate Brokers (NAREB). He has over 30 years of experience in property and asset management, mortgage lending and real estate investing, brokerage, and management backgrounds. Lyle is using this wealth of experience to drive Aspen’s strategy, mission and vision to deliver the best service throughout the region.
– Lyle is an educator at North Seattle College, teaching Real Estate & Property Management curriculums at North Seattle College. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Consumer Studies from the University of Maryland, and his MBA from University of Arizona Global Campus. He is currently completing his doctorate degree (DBA) with an Emphasis in Management from Grand Canyon University.
John Church - CPA/Real Estate BrokerFinancial Manager
– John B Church is a member, owner, and one of the founders of Aspen NW Real Estate LLC. He serves as the primary financial office of Aspen, with 30 plus years of managerial experience, in the public, as well as private sectors.
– John, who has held an active Certified Public Accounting certificate since 1989, began his career with the public accounting firm of Ernst and Whinney, as an auditor, before entering the private sector, where he held positions from Controller to Chief Financial Officer, with various privately and publicly held companies.
– John previously served as a board member on the Brittany Place Homeowner’s Association in the mid ‘90s, when he owned a home there, and has had ongoing experience with a number of HOA’s that govern the communities within which properties Aspen manages are located.
Eric SmithOperations Manager
– Eric is principal and founder of Aspen NW Real Estate LLC, with an extensive background in all aspects of operations management, including residential, commercial, and association property management.
– His background includes his time in the Navy where he held designated rate of GSM jet engine mechanic and fuel systems engineer. Eric spent 20 years managing an insurance business, and since 2009, has been the operations management of the company.
– Eric collaborates directly with our legal team overseeing daily legal matters of the firm. His attention to detail assist owners and association boards in effective and smooth operations of the communities.

Properties We Service

Single-family homes

A single-family home has no shared property but is built on its own parcel of land.

Duplex

A duplex is a multi-family home that has two units in the same building. These two units always share a common wall but can feature two different floor plans.

Triplex and Fourplex

A triplex and fourplex consist of three or four individual dwelling units combined into one building, with the individual units sharing a few common walls.

Condos

Short for “condominium,” a condo is a private residence within a larger building or complex. Homeowners own their individual unit space, and all the dwellings share ownership of common-use areas.

Townhouse

A townhouse is a multi-floor home that shares one to two walls with adjacent properties but has its own entrance.

Multi-unit apartment buildings

An apartment building is a tall building that contains different individual residences. Generally, what sets apartments apart is that they are rented units and not owned.
